If you apply in store, dress nicely (not formally) and if you get called into an interview, never EVER wear jeans. Good luck!Any advice for a teenager applying for jobs?
Along with the proper attire, bring a pen - a lot of people don't. Ask for an application and fill it out there - do not take it home to fill out. When done with the app, ask for a manager and hand it to him / her; if you give it to a sales clerk, it may not get to the mgr. When you hand over the app, ask when it is an appropriate time / day to have an interview
If you can try to apply in store and if you can meet a manager it is always a plus because you want to give them a face to go with the application. The first impression is always important so smile often, dress well, and seem interested in what they say. Most importantly NO GUM CHEWING. Hope this helps.
