Mine would be to appreciate what you've got and make the most of it, rather than wasting time wishing your life was ';better';.
=]If you could give one piece of advice to other teenagers, what would it be?
Don't worry about tomorrow, because you might not make it there, and don't worry about what happened yesterday because it is never coming back...
Basically, if all you do is worry, like me, you won't find enjoyment in life's activities. If you worry that people will laugh because you can't hit a baseball, then you can't look at the good things. At least you tried your best (hopefully). And also, just live life to its fullest. You may not be here tomorrow....so always smile and dream. If you could give one piece of advice to other teenagers, what would it be?
Yeah, that's exactly what I would say. If things don't last forever, find a way to make them, and make the most of it while you're at it.
If you've ever read 'Life as We Knew It'; you have a different perspective on life. It's about the moon being hit by an asteroid and knocking it closer to Earth. Which makes awful tsunamis and volcanic erruptions from the gravitational pull. It's from the perspective of a 16 year old girl, and her family is rationing food and all. It completly made me think about life in a different way. Take NOTHING for granted!
Mine would be exactly the same as yours! And, don't get all jealous or emotional if things don't go the way you want it to go, because at the end of the day, life is unfair, and we don't get what we want, but we should appreciate the things we have in life, such as Love, a Home, and Friends.
don't live too cautiously; don't live too dangerously.
oh and don't forget the people who brought you into the world and are sustaining your life (ie: parents) because their opinion and knowledge really does matter.
and youth is very limited. it's a fraction of life but still an important, impacting time. don't neglect education because what you learn will carry you through the rest of your life
sorry i cheated
I'd have to say, I agree with you!
People learn when it's too late...
I recently turned 16 and admitted I've taken alot for granted especially the dentist, only got a small cavarty but I'm lucky I don't need to pay for a filling! atleast I've learnt.
This is a common thing Anyone would say to a young person,
Teen Guys: 'Wear condoms/Rubbers' No one else wants to spend their taxes on unwanted babies.
Teen Girls: Have some pride and keep your legs closed in future...
Um Chyeah, I may be rude in saying this But seriously I'm disgusted by most people my age %26amp;! Younger but they don't learn til' it's too late.
A little bit of respect goes a long way
For those teens who like to dramatise their lives ‘oh my Mum won’t by me a Louis V handbag the b*tch’ or those people who just have no respect for anyone or anything and wonder why no one and nothing gives them anything. Hence the word ‘respect’ grow up and become aware of this word. Gets you a surprisingly long way in this day and age.
Mine would be don't get caught up in drama.
Your family will be there for you through thick and thin, through life's journies and obstacles, but your friends that you make now, you probably won't know them ten or twenty years from now. Don't let your family slip away for friends who will come and go.
Yours is really true. Mine would be some what of a cliche:
Just be who you are. Stop trying so friggen hard to fit in with everyone else. As the great Doctor Seuss once said, ';“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind';. High school is stupid, enjoy it. Once you get out of there you're never going to see those people again anyway.
Earn respect rather than demanding it (in some cases learn what it is).
Enjoy life and reach for your goals
Friendships should be nurtured and kept, but above all mum %26amp; dad do love you and you'll regret any arguements you've had later in life.
It's okay to make mistakes, it's human. But when your doing something crazy and stupid think about it. Think of all the outcomes, if you can't handle any of the consequences then don't do it, because it's something you can't afford to risk.
don't dwell on the past, don't look at the future, live in the present.
many people have amazing things, but many also have nothing, don't be envious, be grateful.
Mine is to treasure your true friends because they will be there for you thick and thin, will stick up for you when you are mocked and just be there as a shoulder to cry on =].
Don't wish to be older, time flys by when you are young.
Don't try doing things because it makes you feel older, or feel ''cool''.
Don't rebel against your parents, they were once your age and live with their own mistakes.
Your's is good! Mine would be to do what you want to do and care about what others think, you have to do things for yourself.
Mine would be, always tell the truth when theirs a conflict, cause if you lie, it'll just make problems worse and lead to nowhere.
Don't have sex. You'll get pregnant, and die.
(Just kidding, Mean Girls FTW.)
Uhh, enjoy being a kid I guess.
mine would be 'DO NOT HAVE UNDERAGE SEX, ITS VERY DANGEROUS NOWADAYS %26amp; YOU WONT BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE CONSEQUENCES'.
when i was younger i really wished someone had told me that its going to go so quickly so dont try to grow up too fast. im 18 now so still a teenager but i really wish i hadnt done too much too young. :)
Respect yourself along with your parents. Dont do or say anything that will hurt someone now and come back to haunt you later.Just enjoy life and be safe.
Mine would be, stop relying on your parents for everything and try to be more independent early on.
Learn to type in English.
It gets you further in life den typn lyk dis.
Oh! And learn proper grammar and punctuation, too.
=]
I was so shy.
Don't be afraid to talk to people. Make as may friends as you can! You'll have so much more fun.
Be yourself (not just as a teenager but throughout life)
OR
Never let go of ur morals or values.
I'm struggling to think of just one
Keep away from the drink and drugs and don't be in such a hurry to have sex.
Your parents are your friend, not your enemies.
OR
Know your enemies.
I would tell them to live in the moment and not worry about what might happen. (I wish I could follow my own advice.)
Oh! And CHICKS BEFORE D!CKS!! (:
Take every opportunity that your given!
:D
';listen to your mother she is always right!!!!'; lol
well mine always turns out to be right even now and i way passed my teen years :)
Enjoy your youth while you have it and don't waste it. Because you never get it back.
Don't be pressured into having sex.
Live life to the fullest.
Listen to your parents.
well, its more like a quote.
your pre-puberty years are like a lollipop.
it sucks until it's gone. D:
