Advice for a satire about teenagers?

I have a very loose sort of idea for this assignment, I'd like to do a paper on how insufferably ignorant/incapable teenagers are nowadays, but I can't think of a good premise. I thought of comparing them to sloths, but don't really know how to begin. I wrote a small blurb as an example:

';Sloths move only when necessary and even then very slowly: their bodies expend half the amount of energy as the average mammal of similar age and weight. They can achieve marginally higher speeds if they are in immediate danger of producing an original thought, but they burn large amounts of energy doing so and often soon return to a somnolent state to recharge.';

Is this a good idea for a satirical essay? Or do you have any suggestions for something better?Advice for a satire about teenagers?

teenagers are not like sloths at all. most teenagers are much more active then their parents. plus, any good college professor is not going to like a paper written with bias or stereotypes.
Teenagers are not like sloth's. What you're doing is basically stereotyping. Most teenagers actually go out, not sit about all day playing video games.
I think it is a good topic.

Sloths and Teenagers are (stereotypically) put into the same category.

Keep on going on that track and you will do fine! Sounds like you already have a good blurb going on. Just make the premise either agree, challenge, or qualify with what you are thinking.

Good Luck!
