Does anyone have any advice for decorating a teenagers room ';ocean'; theme?

I was going to do that!


Okay, here where my plans:


Paint the walls an ocean blue.


Make a shelf above your bed and put some shells on it...maybe even a TINY bit of sand and an old looking bottle (the whole message in a bottle thing) .


Hang some nets on your wall and go look at antiqe shops...they might have old hair brushes or mirrors that look like they've been under water for a LONG TIME.


Tangle that stuff in the nets.


I was also going to get fish tanks that can hang on your wall and put some REAL FISH in them (Fake fish look dumb)

Ships wheel, fish net from ceiling, lighthouse painted on wall
well, first, maybe get some ocean-themed furniture. you know, like a surf board or shark jaw, and hang it in the room. another great use for surfboard is for a headboard. the carpet should be tan or a dark green, and the walls should be painted blue-you can choose the shade. get a dark blue bedspread, with white sheets undereath. if you want an endtable, go with blue and glasstop.
get a vintage longboard and put it on the wall
