13-year-old daughter diagnosed with hip impingement at a major hospital. They say she needs 30% percent of her hip socket shaved off and then the ball reshaped. What can she expect for recovery time? It MIGHT be with an arthroscope but most likely it will be done ';open'; because of her age and the fact that she is still growing.Hip impingement teenager advice please?
