Starting over again? need advice from other teenagers...?

since the start of 2008, i have been doing homeschooling (distance Education) . And i love it, i really do, i have some really nice frends. But most of them are in remote places. but nyways. Recently my mum fell into deppression and anziety (i not thats not spelt right.) And she was my home tutor. Now I have to go to my dads work. holidays is next week. and she will be out of hospital in round 2 weeks maybe even less. But all our family frends are saying that i shod go to a school called mansfield. THere are two things stopping me.


1. I dont wwant to start over again ... ive just fitted in made some of the best frends and i feel lyk i belong ther.


2. Two im terrible at math. im in yr 8 and i dont know my times tables , so im generally terrible at it. Im so scared that the teacher n kids will mock me....





i need good saoft advice .. from nice ppl. plz dont put nasty comments on .. im only just a teenager :(

You should get another tutor.


There are a lot of mean people out there, and they probably will not understand your situation of education.





It might help, to get you started, by trying to learn on your own.


The internet could help.


But my suggestion is get another tutor or one of your friends to catch you up a little.


Maybe give you some common knowledge.


But another tutor to help you in your weak areas is probably the best idea. Starting over again? need advice from other teenagers...?
no-one will take the mick out of you im in year 9 and there are schools for special needs and you get put in sets so you are with people with the same ability with you if you dont mind being put in with the special needs people
Who cares if anyone mocks you. Anyways, tell them that you are fitting in at your current school. Tell them you don't want to move to Mansfield. Is that Mansfield, OH? It could be a Public School District. Just tell them that.
Dont worry im in grade eight too. I am terrible at the times tables! I need to use my fingers and then think about it. And i recentlly moved but the teacher or students didnt mock me. They helped me out! =] dont be afraid.
i do home skl and i love it but i h8 skl so its up to you whateva u think is gona take u futha in your life good luk!!!!!!! :)
