(In Australia)What are the range of services available to access legal advice for teenagers?
There are several. There are numerous websites that explain the law and advise on issues affecting young people such as sex, drugs, alcohol, leaving home etc. I can't remember the names but there is at least one for each state - they're easy enough to find if you just google it.
There are also a number of community legal services available that give free legal advice to anyone - they generally have walk in nights once or twice a week where you can talk to a solicitor.
Legal aid is another option if you qualify - you generally need to be a low income earner (ie; if you're eligible for Centrelink you should qualify) but they can provide advice and in some cases legal representation.
If you can afford it, you could also contact a solicitor - keep in mind that they charge fees (and they're often quite expensive).
Some university law schools also run free student legal services where older students can help out with legal advice.
Good luck! What are the range of services available to access legal advice for teenagers?
I imagine it would be the same as anything available to adults if they were already in trouble with the law.
