Deadline by Chris CrutcherHy. I'm looking for some good books to enjoy during this summer. I'd like books for teenagers. Advice?
Choose among these:
1.) Wanna go for chick-lit? Choose ';Bookends';. Bookends is about a bunch of 30 something young adults and how they face love, friendship, and problems.
http://www.allreaders.com/topics/info_14鈥?/a>
2.) Wanna go for high-flying adventure? Choose ';Iron Man';. Iron man is based from the comic book and the 2008 movie. The book centers around Tony Stark, billionaire industrialist and how he was kidnapped, how he escaped, how he is seeking revenge for himself and for the people his captors are hurting.
http://weread.com/book/034550609X/Iron+M鈥?/a>
3.) Wanna go for some mysterious and dark drama? Choose ';Twilight';. Twilight tells the story of how Bella Swan met vampire Edward Cullen and how and why they had fallen in love with each other when they are worlds apart. The saga begins.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_%2鈥?/a>
4.) Wanna go for some fun comedy and romance? Choose ';Confessions of a Shopaholic';. This book follows Becky and the challenges she faces being a shopaholic.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confessions鈥?/a>
5.) Wanna go for some award-winning experience? Choose ';Slumdog Millionaire';. Slumdog tells the life of Ram Mohammad Thomas as he retells his life HIMSELF to proof that he really won in the game show ';WHO WILL WIN A BILLION?'; or W3B.
http://books.simonandschuster.com/Q-A/Vi鈥?/a>
6.) Wanna go for serious mystery and mouth burning words? Choose ';Low Red Moon';. Low Red Moon tells the story of Deacon Silvey, a psychic who sees things that nobody ever believes because he never tells. And his wife, Chance, who's pregnant and sees things herself. Although she's not a psychic.

7.) Wanna go for a sad but touching tale? Choose ';Little Women';. Little women is based on a true story by the author herself. It's about four sisters who suffer from the poverty during the Civil War and how they resist buying those slippers at the market. :)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Wome鈥?/a>
8.) Wanna go for some one-on-one face-to-face man-to-man warning about what's happening with the people caused by AH1N1 virus? I recommend ';The Andromeda Strain';. There's a killer virus codenamed ';Andromeda'; and a team of top scientists try to figure out a cure for the virus because it mutates within seconds and kills you. If not, it makes you really sick. But first, they have to figure out where the virus came from.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Androme鈥?/a>
The Andromeda Strain is one of the books that are HIGHLY recommended is you want to be more warned and careful about the AH1N1 virus. Because who knows? What if the ';A'; in AH1N1 stands for ';Andromeda';?
There are two (2) movies for this novel. One is the 1971 version and one is the 2008 version.
1971: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066769/
2008: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424600/
Between the two movies, I would always recommend the 2008 version. Because, you're a teenager and you want things to be more understandable. So the 2008 version is for you. The 1971 version was so dull and boring while the 2008 one was so exciting and adrenaline-rushing. It stars the Will %26amp; Grace phenomenon, Eric McCormack and the other guy, Benjamin Bratt.
I hope you pick one of these books. Or better-- one or more. I am always willing to help people who ask for recommendations on everything. Most especially on music, movies, and books. Those are the three things I always excel on.
I hope your summer would enjoy your summer!
